We cannot do that unless we rightly understand our Good, Sovereign, All-Powerful, Righteous God. Until we know God rightly, and know ourselves correctly, we cannot make God known to others around us. He has made the place for us to grow in holiness the body, we call it, "The Church". ***Eph. 4:11-16*** *"And He Himself gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers, for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ, until we all attain to the unity of the faith, and of the full knowledge of the Son of God, to a mature man, to the measure of the stature which belongs to the fullness of Christ, so that we are no longer to be children, tossed here and there by waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by the trickery of men, by craftiness in deceitful scheming, but speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in all aspects into Him who is the head, that is Christ, from whom the whole body, being joined and held together by what every joint supplies, according to the properly measured working of each individual part, causes the growth of the body for the building up of itself in love." (LSB)* The mission of making Christ known here at Grace means we look for ways to make Him known locally, regionally and worldwide. Members of Grace have been on mission in our local town, and on four continents. We are learning what it means to live life on mission in our homes, at the grocery store, at the job site, in the schoolhouse, on the street corner in China Grove, and on street corners around the globe. Grace is a place that strives to build relationships as Christ directed in his One Another's given in the New Testament. We welcome you to visit and worship with us. If you choose to remain at Grace, we are grateful that God has brought you here to partner in the disciple making of the local body. At Grace, we are very aware that one hour on a Sunday is not enough for the body to be truly involved in the disciple making process God calls us to. To that end, Grace has home groups for Members, so that at other times beside Sunday, the body can choose to be part of each others lives day to day. We meet on Sunday mornings starting at 9:30 a.m. for a time of fellowship where coffee and tea are available. We have Sunday School at 9:00 a.m. from September - November and February - May.
